6. Blades of Glory (2007) – Denver – Pepsi Center

Blades of Glory is pure hilarity, a gold medal comedy winner staring comic superstar Will Ferrell (Talladega Nights) and John Heder (Napoleon Dynamite). Bitter figure skating rivals Chazz Michael Michaels (Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Heder) brawl after tying for the gold medal at the world championships. Banned for life from men's competition, these archrivals beat the system thanks to a loophole that allows them skate again in pars, competition! Co-starring Crag T. Nelson, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler and Jenna Fischer.

7. The Prestige (2006) – Telluride, Durango, Silverton Railway Line

Nikola Tesla did in fact live and work in Colorado Springs. Though the film’s actual locations were in Telluride and Silverton, CO in the San Juans, there are still some views at the top of Cloudcamp in CO Springs that have some epic scenery.

8. Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) – Glenwood Canyon

Hilarious. Glenwood Canyon was going to see some SUV explosions, helicopter action, and rocket launchers, but a decision was made to move one of Mr. and Mrs. Smith’s epic scenes to a desert instead. In the final edit, the canyon only gets a few seconds of face-time when Angelina Jolie climbed up a wall in “Hollywood” style. I think we as Coloradans should require a technical advisor before a shot like this represents us. Climbers, comment away on why gear shouldn’t be placed in between your belay partner.

16. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) – Alamosa, Cortez, Pagosa Springs, Cumbres & Toltec Railroad (Antonito)

The third installment in the widely beloved Spielberg/Lucas Indiana Jones saga begins with an introduction to a younger Indy (played by the late River Phoenix), who, through a fast-paced prologue, gives the audience insight into the roots of his taste for adventure, fear of snakes, and dogged determination to take historical artifacts out of the hands of bad guys and into the museums in which they belong. A grown-up Indy (Harrison Ford) reveals himself shortly afterward in a familiar classroom scene, teaching archeology to a disproportionate number of starry-eyed female college students in 1938. Once again, however, Mr. Jones is drawn away from his day job after an art collector (Julian Glover) approaches him with a proposition to find the much sought after Holy Grail. Circumstances reveal that there was another avid archeologist in search of the famed cup — Indiana Jones' father, Dr. Henry Jones (Sean Connery) — who had recently disappeared during his efforts. The junior and senior members of the Jones family find themselves in a series of tough situations in locales ranging from Venice to the most treacherous spots in the Middle East. Complicating the situation further is the presence of Elsa (Alison Doody), a beautiful and intelligent woman with one fatal flaw: she's an undercover Nazi agent. The search for the grail is a dangerous quest, and its discovery may prove fatal to those who seek it for personal gain. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade earned a then record-breaking $50 million in its first week of release.

17. Christmas Vacation (1989) – Breckenridge/Frisco – Summit County High School and Walmart

Christmas Vacation movie clips:http://j.mp/1CRsQnCBUY THE MOVIE:http://j.mp/tD8sv0Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS:http://bit.ly/1u2y6prCLIP DESCRIPTION:Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), decide to take it easy on Christmas and host a big family get-together. Typical of the Griswold's, however, is the disaster that results.FILM DESCRIPTION:Chevy Chase, star of National Lampoon's Vacation and its sequel, is back as the paterfamilias of the Griswold family (including Beverly D'Angelo as his missus) to skewer the Yuletide season. Chevy mugs, trips, falls, mashes his fingers and stubs his toes as he prepares to invite numerous dysfunctional relatives to his household to celebrate Christmas. Amidst the more outrageous sight gags (including the electrocution of a cat as the Christmas tree is lit) the film betrays a sentimental streak, with old wounds healing and long-estranged relatives reuniting in the Griswold living room. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was still capable of attracting an audience five years after its release -- it was one of the top-rated seasonal TV specials of 1994, outrating even the first network telecast of It's a Wonderful Life.CREDITS:TM & © Warner Bros. The cantankerous Rooster is hired by a headstrong young girl (Kim Darby) to find the man who murdered her father and fled with the family savings. When Cogburn's employer insists on accompanying the old gunfighter, sparks fly.
