Celebrate Mardi Gras with a gumbo cook-off in Colorado’s ski country

Swap out your ski boots for some dancing shoes. It’s time to kick off the Mardi Gras season with celebrations in Colorado’s ski country.

Combine free live music, dancing, giant games, a cash bar, and a gumbo cook-off with spectacular mountain views and you’re in for a one-of-kind celebration at the Keystone Mardi Gras Party and Gumbo Cook-Off – set to take place on Fat Tuesday, February 25 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the River Run Village, located at 140 Ida Belle Drive in Keystone, Colorado.

Here’s a look at the schedule of events for Mardi Gras in Keystone:

  • 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: DJ spinnin’ tunes
  • 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Gumbo Tasting
  • 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Professional and People’s Choice Judging
  • 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: FREE Live Music by Chris Daniels and the Kings
  • 5:00 PM – Gumbo cook-off winners announced
