51 deaths, 2,500+ cases; Here’s a breakdown of Colorado COVID-19 cases
In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been reported that 2,627 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 320 cases compared to yesterday. Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 246 cases on Sunday; 327 cases Saturday; 304 cases Friday, 344 cases Thursday; 174 cases on Wednesday; 192 on Tuesday; 129 on Monday.
Throughout the state, 414 individuals have been hospitalized and 51 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with four added to that list in the latest daily report. There have been 15,364 people tested, with the virus found in 47 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 14 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are reported a day late.

Gunnison, Eagle, and Pitkin counties have the highest rate of infection, with 465.85, 388.24, and 162.20 cases per 100,000 residents, respectively. Denver County has an infection rate of 64.78 per 100,000 residents and El Paso County has an infection rate of 34.29 per 100,000 residents.

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 47.85% of cases and female residents have accounted for 51.69% of cases, with .46% of cases unknown. Males, however, have accounted for 62.75% of deaths, while females have accounted for 37.25%.
