Coronavirus deaths pass 100 in Colorado; 27 outbreaks at residential and non-hospital care facilities
Hours after Polis urged Coloradans to wear face masks whenever leaving the house, the daily update regarding the spread of coronavirus around the state was released.
In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been reported that 4,173 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 445 cases compared to yesterday.
Editor’s Note: Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 386 on Thursday; 376 cases on Wednesday; 339 cases on Tuesday; 320 cases on Monday; 246 cases on Sunday; 327 cases Saturday; 304 cases Friday.
Throughout the state, 823 (+113 since yesterday) individuals have been hospitalized and 111 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with 14 added to that list in the latest daily report. There have been 22,071 people tested, with the virus found in 53 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 27 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are reported a day late.

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 48.09% of cases and female residents have accounted for 51.47% of cases, with .43% of cases unknown. Males, however, have accounted for 62.16% of deaths, while females have accounted for 37.84%.
