Man accused of string of robberies at massage businesses

Trevondus Estes has been charged with 51 counts over a series of armed robberies and a sexual assault. Now, Denver District Attorney Beth McCann is asking more victims to come forward.

Estes, 32, was connected to a string of armed robberies allegedly taken place at massage businesses, including three robberies on Oct. 2, Oct. 27 and Nov. 9.

During one of the robberies, Estes is accused of forcing an employee into a private massage room at gunpoint and sexually assaulting her, officials said.

Investigators believe Estes has a pattern of similar conduct with additional victims and that he likely assaulted others in the Denver metro area.

Anyone with information about Estes’ crimes, or who believes they might have been assaulted by him, is asked to call the Sex Crimes Hotline at 720-913-6040.

Estes’ charges include sexual assault, aggravated robbery, second-degree kidnapping, possession of a weapon as a previous offender and violation of bail bond conditions.
