Suspects sought after shots fired during road rage incident in Jefferson County

A suspect is being sought in a road rage incident that led to shots being fired on Sunday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies are looking for a red- or maroon-colored four-door sedan that was involved in the shooting about 2:40 p.m. in a parking lot near the 11000 block of West Bowles Place.

No one was injured.

The sheriff’s office said the victim’s vehicle was parked in the lot. The sedan, driven by a woman with two male passengers in the back, was speeding erratically in the lot, the sheriff’s office said.

Then, one of the passengers fired at the victim’s vehicle.

A perimeter was set up in the area to search for the sedan with part or all of the front bumper missing, the sheriff’s office said. A temporary license plate in plastic was affixed to the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 303-271-0211 or 911 if the vehicle is seen.
