The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with a robbery and shooting Monday.

The teen was located after investigators learned his identify from one of the victims, according to the sheriff’s department. He is currently being held on suspicion of attempted murder, assault, menacing and robbery, said John Bartmann, a public information officer for the department.

His name and other identifying information will not be released because he is a juvenile.

Deputies were dispatched to the 7475 E. Iliff Ave. Monday around 2:30 p.m. after reports of a robbery and shots fired, officials said.
