At least 2 wounded in Green Valley Ranch shooting

The Denver Police Department is investigating after a shooting in Green Valley Ranch on Tuesday night left at least two people wounded.

Police said they received reports of shots fired about 8:10 p.m. at East 47th Avenue and Tower Road, just off Green Valley Ranch Boulevard.

While police didn’t find anything at the scene, minutes later two people arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.

One of them is still hospitalized, while the other was treated for minor injuries and has been released.

Police offering reward for information on recent homicide

No information is available about the identities of the two.

It is unclear if either of the victims was a suspect in the shooting. Police have not announced any arrests.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
