Barricade situation in Aurora ends peacefully

An armed man who barricaded himself in an Aurora trailer park is in custody after turning himself in, police said.

Second motorcyclist killed in crash in one week in Aurora

Police responded to a mobile home near Cimarron Circle and East 13th Avenue after a man allegedly menaced a family member with a gun and fired shots, shortly before noon. 

As a response, police evacuated the neighboring residences and requested help from the department’s SWAT and K9 units, APD officials said.

Police investigating double-shooting in Aurora

Officials communicated with the individuals, which resulted in the man surrendering shortly after 1 p.m. 

No injuries were reported, APD officials said.
