Body recovered of Texas woman last seen in Breckenridge, police say

The Breckenridge Police Department said Wednesday they recovered the body of a Texas resident last seen in Breckenridge Saturday.

Police were called to the 100 block of High Street in Breckenridge about 4:30 Wednesday and located a deceased woman who was later identified as 58-year-old Lezlie Culver.

Foul play is not suspected to have played a role in Culver’s death, said Deric Gress, assistant chief of police for the department.

Culver was last seen leaving the area of North Main Street on-foot at 8 p.m. Saturday, police said. Her family told authorities she was getting a ride, possibly to Vail.

The investigation is continuing and the police department is asking anyone with information to contact non-emergency dispatch at 970-668-8600.
