Denver weather: Snow comes Friday, continues into the weekend
Denver’s forecast brings snow Friday, with more to come throughout the weekend ahead, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
There’s a 50% chance of snow, mainly after 11 a.m. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a high of 43 degrees. Winds from the southeast are expected to roll through the area at 6 mph.
A winter storm watch continues from Friday afternoon through late Saturday night. Forecasters predict “heavy snow possible,” with snow depth between 3 and 6 inches, possibly up to 10 inches, for the front range foothills and the urban corridor.
Snow flurries are anticipated to continue overnight. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a low bottoming out at 25 degrees.
A 70% chance of snow persists Saturday, mainly in the afternoon. Cloudy skies are in the forecast and a high of 34 degrees.
