Changes at Denver Union Station during renovations
While Denver Union Station is undergoing remodeling, La Caverne Supper Club — a pop-up jazz lounge — will debut in the lower level on Thursday night, the downtown transit hub announced Tuesday.
The jazz lounge will be open daily starting at 4 p.m. with a menu including French wines and sophisticated cocktails such as a Mezcal Swizzle, French 75 and a Sazerac, the news release said.
La Caverne also offers a weekly-rotating menu for a three-course dinner that starts at $55 per person. Guests must make a reservation to dine at exploretock.com/lacaverne-at-union-station.
The bar will feature live jazz performances from Thursday to Saturday evenings between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, a retailer in the station, Bloom by Anuschka, closed at the beginning of the year. The station will convert the boutique space into a lobby for the Crawford Hotel, station spokesperson Julie Dunn told the Denver Gazette.
To mark a decade since reopening, Denver Union Station’s remodeling project aims to enhance the station, Crawford Hotel and Cooper Lounge with new lighting, furniture and an upgrade of 112 luxury hotel rooms. It’s set to wrap up midyear. The Cooper Lounge is temporarily closed for the changes and will reopen in spring, according to Union Station.
