Movie rundown for the weekend through March 10

OPENING

“Cabrini” — (Biography, PG-13, 145 minutes). Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini tries to persuade the mayor to provide housing and health care for hundreds of orphaned children in the slums of New York.

“Imaginary” — (Horror, PG-13, 104 minutes). When returning to her childhood home, a woman finds that her imaginary friend is real and very upset that she abandoned him in the house.

“Kung Fu Panda 4” — (Animation, PG, 94 minutes). After becoming the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, Po finds out that a wicked sorceress is planning on summoning all the master villains that Po vanished to the spirit realm.

“Labyrinth” — (Adventure, PG, 104 minutes). Not wanting to babysit her baby stepbrother, Sarah asks the goblins to take him away. Now the only way to get him back is to solve a labyrinth.

“The Metropolitan Opera: La Forza del Destino” — (Concert, not rated, 265 minutes). Opera broadcast.

ONGOING

“All of Us Strangers” — (Drama, R, 105 minutes). When a screenwriter returns to his childhood home he finds that his parents appear to be alive even though they died 30 years ago.

“American Fiction” — (Comedy, R, 117 minutes). A novelist who is upset with an establishment that is profiting from Black entertainment uses a pen name to write an outlandish “Black” book, only to find himself caught up in the madness and hypocrisy he claims to disdain.

“Anatomy of a Fall” — (Crime, R, 152 minutes). Being the sole witness to a murder, a blind son faces a moral dilemma when his mom is blamed for his father’s death.

“Argylle” — (Action, PG-13, 139 minutes). Grade: D, Katie Walsh. A spy novelist’s fictional and real world begin to blur together when her bestselling espionage novels start to mirror a real-life spy named Argylle.

“Barbie” — (Adventure, PG-13, 114 minutes). Grade: A, Katie Walsh. After suffering a crisis, Barbie starts questioning her world and her existence.

“The Beekeeper” — (Action, R, 105 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. After being revealed to be a former operative for a secret and powerful organization known as Beekeepers, a man’s brutal crusade for vengeance takes on national stakes.

“Bob Marley: One Love” — (Biography, PG-13, 104 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. The story behind the reggae icon’s revolutionary music and the adversity he overcame.

”The Boy and the Heron” — (Animation, PG-13, 124 minutes). Grade: A, Katie Walsh. In this semi-autobiographical fantasy from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki, a young boy ventures into a world of the living and the dead.

“The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 7-8” — (Drama, not rated, 170 minutes). Episodes seven and eight of season four of the series about the life of Christ are shown on the big screen.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba — To the Hashira Training” — (Animation, R, 104 minutes). While Muzan searches for Nezuko and Ubuyashik, Tanjiro trains to become a Hashira.

“Drive-Away Dolls” — (Action, R, 84 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. Things go wrong when Jamie and Marian meet up with a group of criminals during their road trip to Tallahassee.

“Dune: Part Two” — (Action, PG-13, 166 minutes). Grade: A+, Katie Walsh. Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen during his travels to seek revenge against those who destroyed his family.

“The Holdovers” — (Comedy, R, 133 minutes). Grade: A-, Michael Phillips. A cranky teacher at a prep school has to stay on campus for the holidays with a troubled student who has no place to go.

“Io Capitano” — (Drama, not rated, 121 minutes). The story of two Senegalese teenagers who travel from Daker to Europe on a quest to become pop stars.

“Killers of the Flower Moon” — (Crime, R, 207 minutes). Grade: A, Katie Walsh. Based on the David Grann bestseller, the story tells of what came to be known as the Reign of Terror, depicting the 1920s murders of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation.

“Madame Web” — (Action, PG-13, 117 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. After Cassandra Webb develops the power to see the future, she begins to realize she can use that to forge a different path.

“Migration” — (Animation, PG, 92 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. A duck family convinces their overprotective father to go on vacation and it turns out to be a family vacation like no other.

“Night Swim” — (Horror, PG-13, 98 minutes). After moving into a new home, a family is terrorized by a dark secret in the home’s past when they go swimming in the backyard pool.

“No Way Up” — (Action, R, 90 minutes). After their plane crashes into the Pacific Ocean, the passengers must fight to survive.

“Oppenheimer” — (Biography, R, 180 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. The story of J. Robert Oppenheimer’s role in the development of the atomic bomb.

“Ordinary Angels” — (Drama, PG, 116 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. Based on a true story about a hairdresser who gets an entire community involved in helping a widowed father’s daughter who needs a liver transplant.

“Past Lives” — (Drama, PG-13, 105 minutes). Twenty years after being torn apart when Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea, Nora and her childhood friend Hae Sung are reunited.

“Perfect Days” — (Drama, PG, 124 minutes). The story of a janitor who lives in Japan and his love of music and books.

“Poor Things” — (Drama, R, 141 minutes). After Bella Baxter is brought back to life by scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, she stands steadfast in her purpose for liberation and equality.

“Stopmotion” — (Horror, R, 93 minutes). After the loss of her overbearing mother, a stop-motion animator fights to control her demons.

“The Taste of Things” — (Drama, PG-13, 135 minutes). The story of an esteemed cook and the gourmet she has been working under for 20 years.

“Wish” — (Animation, PG, 92 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. When Asha makes a wish, a little ball of energy named Star appears and together they must confront the Ruler of Rosas to save the community.

Wonka” — (Adventure, PG, 116 minutes). Grade: B, Katie Walsh. A poor and young Willy Wonka discovers that the chocolate industry is run by a gang of greedy chocolatiers when he pursues his dream of opening a chocolate shop.

“The Zone of Interest” — (Drama, PG-13, 105 minutes). The commandant of Auschwitz and his wife try to build a life for their family while living next to the camp.
