Beau Jo’s opens 7th pizza restaurant

One of Colorado’s best-known pizza restaurants has expanded in the state.

Beau Jo’s has opened a new location at 2110 South University Blvd. in Denver, Denver Gazette media partner 9News reported.

That’s near South University Boulevard and East Evans Avenue, next to the University of Denver.

The new restaurant offers limited and full service, as well as catering, takeout and delivery.

The new Denver restaurant joins pizza locations in Arvada, Evergreen, Fort Collins, Lone Tree, Steamboat Springs and its flagship location in Idaho Springs.

Beau Jo’s first opened more than 50 years ago and is known for selling Colorado-style pizza by the pound and with honey on the side to enjoy with the crust.
