Denver weather: Hot weekend, multiple thunderstorms forecasted for days ahead
Denver is forecast for temps in the high 90s Saturday and a slight increase Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Light wind, ranging from 5-9 mph, is expected Saturday with a high of 97 degrees. The low could dip down to 67 degrees. Wind gusts throughout the day could reach up to 15 mph.
The weather service has issued a heat advisory for Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. as temps could reach up to 100 degrees.

Sunday: A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Monday: A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. West southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday: A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94.
