RTD’s A Line service disrupted all day Wednesday; shuttle buses to be used

Testing of crossing gates on RTD’s A Line between Union Station and Central Park Station will require riders to use shuttle buses all day Wednesday, Aug. 21, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The testing is required by federal rules. The Union Pacific Railroad and Denver Transit Operators will be performing maintenance and testing at Steele Street, Holly Street, and Clayton Street.

A Line trains will operate on their regular schedule between Central Park Station and Denver International Airport.

Passengers can access bus shuttle service at the following locations:

• Union Station, Gate B22 (underground bus concourse)

• 38th•Blake Station, board shuttle in front of the station

• 40th•Colorado Station, Gate B

• Central Park Station, Gate B3

Rail service will resume after the work is completed.

Continuous service to DIA is scheduled to depart Union Station at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Continuous service from DIA to Union Station is expected to depart at approximately 4:42 p.m.

Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and prepare for extra time for bus shuttle transfers to or from the airport.
