Broncos sign WR Michael Bandy to futures contract
ENGLEWOOD – The Broncos on Wednesday signed wide receiver Michael Bandy to a futures contract.
Bandy spent most of 2023 and all of 2024 on Denver’s practice squad. Bandy, who appeared in 11 games for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2021 and 2022, got into one game with Denver in 2023 but none in 2024.
The Broncos signed 13 players off their practice squad to futures deals on Monday and Bandy became the 14th to sign. Not having signed futures deals so far after finishing the season on the practice squad have been tackle Cam Fleming, wide receiver David Sills V and tight end Donald Parham.
A source said Tuesday that Fleming, 32, wants to continue to play in the NFL. He has been with the Broncos since 2021, but didn’t land on a 53-man roster after he became a free agent last March. He signed with Denver’s practice squad in October and got into one 2024 game.
