Broomfield police search for suspect in road rage shooting

The Broomfield Police Department is searching for a suspect who allegedly shot at and struck another driver on Saturday night.

In a news release on social media platform X, Broomfield police officials said officers responded to a road rage shooting on eastbound US Highway 36 near West Flatiron Crossing Drive at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday

One person was shot in the neck and transported to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to fully recover, police said.

The investigation revealed three bullets struck the victim’s vehicle during the incident, according to police.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicle and suspect involved.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white sedan driving recklessly on eastbound US 36 between McCaslin Boulevard and Interlocken Loop between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Police ask anyone with information to call their detective at 720-887-5297.
