RTD offering bus shuttle service during repairs on E line March 11-13
The Regional Transportation District announced bus shuttle service between 4:30 a.m. and noon March 11-13 as it completes the final maintenance on the E Line that will remove the speed restrictions.
During the period, RTD crews will tamp rail and adjust track geometry between the Yale and Southmoor stations on the southbound track.
Bus shuttles will replace light rail trains between Southmoor and I-25/Broadway stations to provide connections for customers in and out of Denver Union Station and the Downtown Loop. The work will impact light rail service on the E and H lines.
Regular light rail service on the E and H lines will resume on March 14.
What to Expect
• E Line trains will temporarily operate every 15 minutes north of I-25/Broadway Station and every 30 minutes south of Southmoor Station during the disruption
• H Line trains will not operate north of Southmoor Station. Trains will operate every 30 minutes between Southmoor and Florida stations
• H Line customers destined for the Downtown Loop will need to transfer to the D Line via shuttles at I-25/Broadway Station
