I-25 NB closed for crash in Northern Colorado

MEAD, Colo. — Interstate 25 northbound, north of Mead, will have an extended closure due to a crash on Monday afternoon.

The interstate heading north is closed between Exit 245 at Mead and Colorado Highway 56, the Colorado Department of Transportation said on social media.

A Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said the crash was reported at 2:50 p.m. The spokesperson didn’t have additional information at this time.

A CDOT camera shows an overturned trailer and a pickup that appears to be facing the wrong way.

It’s unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash.
