Zach Allen earned the respect of his NFL peers.
The Broncos defensive end is ranked No. 90 on the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2025 list, announced Monday, as voted on by the players themselves. It marks the first time in Allen’s six-year NFL career that he’s cracked the list.
Allen blossomed a year ago, in his second Broncos season, with a career best in tackles (61), tackles for loss (15), quarterback hits (40) and sacks (8.5). It led to second-team NFL All-Pro honors. Allen is the first Broncos player named to the league’s Top 100 players of 2025 list, which is revealed weekly through the end of August.
The NFL announced his selection with a video that sampled players across the league on their opinions of Allen’s game.

Joe Alt, Chargers offensive tackle: “He’s a guy who has a high motor. I feel like he kind of tries to lull you to sleep a little bit. He’ll be kind of nice to you here and there on some of the plays, and then when he comes, he turns down plays really well. … He’s got really good hands, and he’s got the ability to get you off your spot.”
Joel Bitonio, Browns offensive tackle: “He’s very nice out there. So, he’s always saying ‘Oh, good block’ or this or that. … He has this power pull. Guys are trying to sit down on his power rush, and he’ll just swipe his hands or swim over.”
Isaiah Likely, Ravens tight end: “Really, if you let him, he’ll change the game. Somebody that’s definitely broke out (and) showed everybody that he’s here to stay.”
