Colorado State women’s basketball adds familiar face to Ryun Williams’ staff | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Colorado State’s newest women’s basketball assistant coach won’t need a campus map.

Rachel Erickson, who was a part of the Rams coaching staff from 2022-24, will return to Ryun Williams staff, the school said Wednesday. She had spent the 2024-25 season as the head coach at Black Hills State, leading her alma mater to an 18-11 record.

Erickson’s 18 wins last season were the second-most wins by a first-year coach in Black Hills State history.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rachel back to our staff,” Williams said. “She was a big part of our success in the past, and her return will be welcome and seamless.”
