Job fair at Denver International Airport: Here’s what you need to know

Recruitment for more than 50 positions across multiple areas at Denver International Airport will take place at an annual hiring fair on Aug. 12. 

The positions include part-time, full-time, hourly and salaried work at airlines, concessions, rental car companies. The City and County of Denver is also looking for workers.

The job fair, hosted by the airport and Denver Economic Development & Opportunity, will be held on the plaza connecting the Westin Hotel to the Jeppsen Terminal from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“There are many opportunities to find your path at DIA, no matter what your skill set or level of experience is,” said Phil Washington, the airport’s CEO. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with DEDO again this year to help match qualified jobseekers with exciting and critical positions at one of the world’s busiest airports.”

Parking is not free — it is available in the East or West DEN garages for $7 per hour. Transit options include riding the RTD A-line to the job fair. RTD rides are free for anyone 19 and under.

For those unable to attend the job fair, they can visit Denver’s Workforce Centers at the Arie P. Taylor Municipal Center at 4685 Peoria St. and the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building at 201 W Colfax Ave.

Jobseekers can visit the centers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. While walk-ins are accepted, though jobseekers are encouraged to an appointment by emailing workforce@denvergov.org.
