A teenager reportedly sustained serious injuries after getting struck by a boat at Colorado’s Cherry Creek Reservoir on Sunday evening.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the teen was being pulled in a tube by a boat when another boat struck him. He sustained severe leg injuries and was brought to shore by boaters on the lake.

He was reportedly conscious and breathing when transported to a hospital.

An investigation remains underway. Additional details may be released.

Cherry Creek Reservoir is located at Cherry Creek State Park. It’s a popular water destination located in the southeast area of the Denver metro.
