Colorado State volleyball picked second in Mountain West preseason poll | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Colorado State volleyball is expected to finish near the top — again.

The Rams were picked second in the Mountain West’s preseason poll released Wednesday, trailing only favorite Utah State. Utah State had 114 points, CSU 106.

The league’s coaches voted in the poll. Colorado State, the defending champion, returns only one starter and did not place a player on the preseason all-conference list.

CSU opens the season with an exhibition game Saturday at No. 12 Creighton. The Rams’ home opener is Aug. 29 against Colgate.
