COVID-19 testing sites to close, open late Tuesday over winter weather
At least 11 COVID-19 testing sites will be closed or have delayed openings Tuesday due to the Winter Weather Advisory, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced Monday.
Testing will be closed at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden and Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Conifer.
Testing will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday at All City Stadium and North High School in Denver, Instructional Sport Facility and APS Professional Learning Center in Aurora and Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village.
New COVID-19 testing site opens at Denver’s Ruby Hill Park
Testing will also be postponed at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Echo Park in Parker, Mountain Range High School in Westminster and St. Vrain Valley Schools Innovation Center in Longmont.
Anyone with appointments at the affected testing sites who needs to reschedule will be contacted by COVIDCheck Colorado.
Other state-managed and partnered community testing sites will operate as scheduled. Additional closings will be announced if weather forecasts worsen. Private providers may or may not be open Tuesday.
