Broncos sign FB Adam Prentice; OL Nick Gargiulo placed on injured reserve
The Broncos made two roster moves following their home preseason victory over the Cardinals.
Denver signed fullback Adam Prentice, the team announced on Sunday. Prentice spent the last four seasons with the Saints, including 2021 with Sean Payton as formerly their head coach. Prentice was also previously in training camp with the Broncos in 2021.

Prentice — who started his college playing career at Colorado State University — fluctuated between the Saints’ practice squad and active roster over his first three years in New Orleans. He played in all 17 games last season. Prentice has nine career NFL carries for 26 yards. He’s also logged eight receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns.
Broncos fullback Michael Burton has missed time in training camp and Saturday’s preseason game with a hamstring injury.
With another strong preseason showing by Jarrett Stidham, Broncos wallop Cardinals 27-7
Denver also placed offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo on season-ending injured reserve Sunday. He suffered an apparent right leg injury on Saturday against the Cardinals. Gargiulo — a seventh-round Broncos draft pick in 2024 — was carted off the field and did not return.
