One wounded after shooting in Denver’s Chaffee Park neighborhood

The Denver Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the Chaffee Park neighborhood Monday night.

Police said the shooting happened in the 4800 block of North Quivas Street, near the intersection of West 48th Avenue and North Pecos Street.

DPD announced the shooting just before 7:45 p.m.

Wanted: Man in Denver suspected of crimes against children

The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries, police said. His current status is unknown.

No arrests have been made. No suspect information is available at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
