Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has been announced as the speaker for the Ronald Reagan dinner at the Conservative Political Action Conference next month.

CPAC described Lake as “a rare leader who captured the hearts of conservative[s],” touting her proposals for border security and elections.

“Kari has been a breath of fresh air into conservative politics. She has an uncanny ability to tell it like it is [that] has given a voice to the silent majority in Arizona and across the country, and we can’t wait to have her liven up our CPAC stage at the Ronald Reagan Dinner,” CPAC spokeswoman Megan Powers Small said, per the Hill.

The keynote speaker at CPAC’s 2022 Ronald Reagan dinner was radio host Glenn Beck. CPAC is set for March 1-4 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. It’s the first time the event will be hosted in the Washington, D.C., area since 2020.

Lake narrowly lost the Arizona gubernatorial race to Democrat Katie Hobbs, and she failed in her various legal challenges to the 2022 election.

Speculation has been mounting on whether Lake will run for Senate in 2024, in what could become a three-way race between a GOP nominee, incumbent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ).
