Woman arrested after assaulting, biting police officers in Colorado
One woman was arrested Thursday night after assaulting a police officer, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officials said just after 6:14 p.m., police received reports of a disturbance near the 3600 block of Parkmoor Village Drive.

“Through their investigation, they determined a female party had an outstanding warrant for her arrest,” an online blotter entry reads.
As the woman was being escorted to the car by police, the woman assaulted one of the police officers escorting her.
While police were initially able to get the woman under control, the woman bit a second officer during a medical evaluation, police said.
According to officials, the suspect was eventually transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries. She has since been identified as Gloria Larson.
Larson is facing multiple counts of second-degree assault, police said.
