Multiple grass fires deemed suspicious in Colorado Springs, hunt for suspect underway

The Colorado Springs Fire Department has extinguished multiple grass fires in the area of Research Parkway and Austin Bluffs Parkway. 

The fires were reported by CSFD just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and were out by 1:30 p.m.

The cause of the fires is under investigation. Fire crews said they are “considered suspicious at this time.”

A report from KKTV stated that police are currently looking for a potential arson suspect.
